Country Club Showcase: Learning Never Tasted So Good

Written by Eaton Marketing | Jul 22, 2026 4:03:48 PM

Eaton Marketing, we believe the best way to understand foodservice equipment isn't by reading a brochure, it's by seeing it in action, asking questions, tasting the results, and experiencing it for yourself.

That's exactly what our Country Club Showcase was all about.

In June, we welcomed dealers, consultants, operators, chefs, and industry partners to both our Clearwater and Fort Lauderdale showrooms for an afternoon of hands-on learning, incredible food, and plenty of fun. With a golf-inspired theme leading guests through "the back nine," every stop featured live equipment demonstrations, manufacturer experts, and innovative solutions designed to help foodservice operations perform at their best.

Clearwater: Playing the Front Nine

Our Clearwater showroom was buzzing as attendees made their way from station to station, discovering equipment designed to solve real-world challenges.

Chef Jason Hall demonstrated the precision and versatility of the FireX Cucimix. He showcased the versatility of the Firex system by preparing a hearty gumbo. The day before, he handcrafted caramel, demonstrating how easily the equipment handles everything from delicate sauces to large-batch production. As a sweet bonus, every guest took home a jar of his homemade caramel.

Chef Rick Pawlak fired up the INVOQ Combi Oven, preparing perfectly cooked steaks while demonstrating how Combi technology delivers consistency, efficiency, and labor savings that today's kitchens demand.

Of course, one of the afternoon favorites came from Rachel Eaton (Kevin and Kay’s daughter), who served her famous deep-fried bananas made in the Pitco Fryer, topped with homemade coconut ice cream and a caramelized banana brown sugar sauce. It quickly became one of the most talked-about stops on the course.

Beyond the food, guests explored Eaton Essentials' tabletop collections, glassware, dinnerware, and smallwares while spending one-on-one time with our factory partners. Seeing equipment and tabletop solutions working together helped bring complete kitchen concepts to life.

Fort Lauderdale: Finishing Strong on the Back Nine

The momentum continued in Fort Lauderdale with another day of great conversations, live cooking, and equipment demonstrations.

Chef Chris Fersch from Firex prepared a flavorful gumbo that showcased the consistency and efficiency of batch cooking. And once again, the magical caramels were made for all guests to take home and enjoy!

Chef Shelby Briggs from Star kept her exclusive "Seal the Deal - made with the Closer" burgers coming off the griddle, utilizing the 24" MagiKitch'n Chrome Griddle and The Closer. Her station highlighted the speed, recovery, and reliability operators count on during their busiest shifts.

Chef Matt McMeekein completed the menu with steak, grilled to perfection in the INVOQ Combi Oven, a fresh beet salad, and crispy arancini, demonstrating how multiple equipment solutions work together to create exceptional meals from start to finish.

Throughout the afternoon, attendees connected directly with manufacturer representatives, explored new technologies, compared equipment options, and asked the questions that matter most when making purchasing decisions. They even had a chance to putt a hole in one with Kevin Eaton!

The Sweet Spot: Why Live Demonstrations Win Every Time

One of the biggest advantages of visiting an Eaton Marketing event is the opportunity to experience equipment exactly the way it was designed to be used.

You can watch it perform, taste the finished product, compare solutions side by side, and have real conversations with the people who know the equipment inside and out.

Whether you're designing a new kitchen, renovating an existing facility, updating a country club, or simply looking for ways to improve efficiency, there's no substitute for seeing it firsthand.

That's why we invest in events like these. They're about more than showcasing equipment—they're about helping our customers make informed decisions, discover new ideas, and build relationships that continue long after the event ends.
