Listen, we know how tough 2020 has been for the foodservice industry. We know people are struggling to keep their doors open and pay staff. We know how much we're looking forward to the big boom in restaurants that we believe will come once this is all over. And that's why we've used this year to [reinvest in facilities here at Eaton Marketing](https://blog.eaton-marketing.com/foodservice/new-eaton-marketing-test-kitchen-south-florida) to better serve our customers. We also want you to know we feel it's important to talk about the opportunities in reinvesting in *your* business. Even though business is slow right now and not as many people are eating in restaurants, we think it's important to prepare for the future before the end of the year because of these five factors: **1) Prices will increase.** With COVID impacting so many types of businesses, many of those businesses are looking for ways to regain their loses. Starting in January of 2021, foodservice equipment and supplies manufacturers are expecting price increases of up to six percent. **2) Finance options are available.** Not only is financing available on all types of equipment through groups like Middleby Advantage, there are also tax incentives that allow restaurant owners to write off full loan amounts plus interest.  **3) Get equipment in a timely manner.** Across so many industries, lead times are increasing because production has slowed and shipping is at a premium. When you order before 2021, you can increase the ability to get what you need in a timely manner. **4) Test equipment before you buy it.** You would never buy a car without driving it first, so why would you buy an oven when that oven is your livelihood?
