Those droplets can actually remain in the air for hours after an infected person is in the room, increasing the likelihood that others will contract Covid-19. One of the most effective ways to mitigate those risks is to use an air purification system that effectively works to scrub the air of dangerous particulates. Air purification units come in a range of options using varying technologies, and they can work in places like [restaurants](https://blog.eaton-marketing.com/foodservice/purify-the-air-in-your-florida-restaurant), hospitals, offices, and even schools. For schools, though, there can often be lofty price tags associated with retrofitting entire districts with air purification systems. The U. S. government recognized this, and as part of the [American Rescue Plan](https://www.ed.gov/improving-ventilation-schools-colleges-and-universities-prevent-covid-19), $125 billion was allocated to help improve ventilation in schools across the country. Here in Florida, some of that money may be available to school districts for the purchase of air purification systems, potentially eliminating the cost outright. ## Which air purification system is the most effective at protecting Florida's schools? [Bluezone by Middleby](https://bluezone.com/products/uvc-light-air-purification-system/) uses patented ultraviolet technology to eliminate airborne contaminants. Using UV-C bulbs that pull air into the chamber and scrub it before it's returned to the room, 99.9995 percent of all viruses, including the Covid-causing coronavirus are eliminated. Unlike other air purification systems, Bluezone can be used while people are in the room, meaning it can provide 24/7 protection in classrooms and school cafeterias even while school is in session. The real power of Bluezone is demonstrated, though, by the [endorsements](https://bluezone.com/check-out-these-endorsements-for-bluezone/) it received. Bluezone is approved by the Food and Drug Administration as a [Class II Medical Device](https://bluezone.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/02/Bluezone-by-Middleby-Model-450-FDA-Clearance-Press-Reslease.pdf). The Israeli Ministry of Health, one of the world's leading organizations during the height of the Covid pandemic, has also recognized Bluezone as being one of their air purification systems of choice. Talk to the experts at Eaton Marketing to learn more about Bluezone and for information about potential funding from the American Rescue Plan. This financial assistance may make it possible to acquire a Bluezone air purification system at a reduced cost, or for no cost at all.
